Essiac Tea

Handed down by a medicine man from the Ojibwa tribe and promoted in the 1920s by Rene Caisse, a Canadian nurse, essiac (Caisse spelled backwards) is now widely used as a daily tonic and, by many, as a cancer-fighting tea.

Originally eight different herbs, "Essiac" as known in the marketplace today, is comprised of four herbs: Sheep Sorrel, Burdock Root, Slippery Elm Bark and Turkish Rhubarb Root.
